TK Mundok, who has been living and working in Pittsburgh since 1999, is truly a Renaissance man: a visual artist, producer of Dark Night Cabaret, dancer, actor, and founding member of Horizons Art Gallery. His work can be found in numerous exhibits and private collections throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and North Carolina.
This online catalog features paintings from TK's Blue Ruin exhibit, "It's a Blessing and a Curse." TK's geometric, symbolic style strips the human figure of the constraints of flesh and clothing and presents an evocative portrayal of the human form that is erotic and enticing, like sensuous robots.
